SONY, POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY, AND RITZ CAMERA BRING SONY DIGITAL DAYS TO LOS ANGELES
BELTSVILLE, Md. – August 19, 2004 – Coming to Los Angeles the weekend of August 28th and 29th, will be another installment of the successful Sony Digital Days program running throughout the country. It will be held at American InterContinental University on West Jefferson Blvd., and the Ritz Camera store associated with the program is located in the Villa Marina Marketplace in Marina del Rey.
The Sony Digital Days program was designed for all levels of digital camera photographers. The class held on Saturday is for the beginners, and the class on Sunday is labeled intermediate. Each daylong program consists of many different lessons with a professional photographer chosen by Popular Photography as the seminar leader. There will also be four Ritz Camera associates on hand to answer any questions. Students will be using all Sony products while they learn and practice taking digital photos.
The morning portion of the program consists of a seminar led by the photo expert; while the afternoon is set aside for students to take digital photos of a live model shoot using different levels of lighting. Because the students must return all cameras and media cards at the end of the day, the Ritz Camera location in Villa Marina Marketplace will stay open late for students who wish to purchase equipment. Ritz Camera is also giving away 50 free DigiPrints for students of the Sony Digital Days program, and the Marina del Rey Ritz store will have special discounts for that weekend only on certain products.
