Comments about Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera w/18-105mm DX VR Lens:
This camera was a replacement for my Nikon D-90, 2008 model. This camera is a mighty leap from my old tried and true friend, with ease of use and multiplicity of features being just two. Larger memory is also a big plus when shooting videos. The only thing I didn't like was the newly designed battery charger, easy fix; when I sold my D-90 I kept the old charger and gave them the new one!

Comments about Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera w/18-105mm DX VR Lens:
This camera was a substantial upgrade from my previous SLR, which was six year old technology by the time I bought the D7000. I use it for Portraits, Nature, landscape, architectural, and just stuff I consider all around artistic. It has pretty incredible low light performance, which is great because I especially like to do city/urban night shots. it shoots great photos with the kit lens and the 70-300mm that I recommended. But I especially like what I get with the 35mm 1.8G on it. The camera has wonderful color. It shoots pretty awesome full 1080p video too, though you may have to use manual focus for video, especially if you don't want the auto focus to be hunting around. The auto focus works extremely well for pictures, (just not so much for video). Well there's not a whole lot more to say, except if your looking for a camera with a reasonable price that has a lot of pro-like features, then this is probably the camera for you.

Comments about Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera w/18-105mm DX VR Lens:
I just received my factory refurbished model. It is clean, clean. Literally "as new". Saved a ton and came with extra warranty from Ritz. Super deal on amazing camera. Love it for my kids sports. I use pro level lenses and with this unit, picture quality is off the charts! Blow them up as big as you want, the detail is there and the colors are perfect. Nikon has done it again with this unit.

Comments about Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera w/18-105mm DX VR Lens:
I love this camera. Image quality is super! More features than I know how to use...yet.
My only dislike is that the video is shaky when hand held, but I suppose most people buy this quality of camera for stills.

originally picked up the D5100 and brought it back to upgrade to the D7000. What a huge difference in performance, feels like a professional camera never looked back.

Comments about Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera w/18-105mm DX VR Lens:
I had previously used a D90 and loved it. So, when purchasing a camera for myself, I wanted something with the same features at a minimum, and with some improvements. The D7000 has definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm mostly taking pictures of children and moving subjects, and the camera does a beautiful job. It may not be so great for sports photography, but might be with a better lens than the kit lens. I also read Ken Rockwell's review of the D7000 and that helped me make up my mind on the camera I wanted to purchase. This is an amazing camera with so many features.
