AC3-N ZoneController for Nikon

The AC3-N ZoneController slides into the shoe of an on-camera PocketWizard MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 and enables Auto and/or manual control of three or more remote Nikon speedlites mounted FlexTT5 transcievers.

Simply slide the AC3-N ZoneController into the shoe of an on-camera PocketWizard MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 and control three or more remote Nikon speedlites mounted FlexTT5 transceivers. Three zones, marked A, B, and C, correspond to Zone Switch settings on the receiving FlexTT5 units. Each zone has a Mode Switch that enables manual or automatic flash control or switching off a flash completely. Clearly marked dials allow increasing or decreasing the power of each flash in 1/3-stop increments over a six-stop range. Remote flashes need only to be ON and set to ETTL and the corresponding zone set on the FlexTT5 you wish to control. Photographers can switch back and forth between auto and manual flash control and use both for the same shot, all right from the cameras position.

Features

E-TTL II Compatibility: Using PocketWizard's ControlTL system, the AC3 is
designed to work seamlessly with Nikon's E-TTL II system. It removes operating
complexity with its easy-to-use design. Nikon i-TTL version coming soon.

Three Zone Control: Control up to three zones of light, each with one or more
flashes, right from the camera's position. Set zones to manual, auto, or switch any
zone OFF.Settings can even be mixed between zones.

Wide range of control: With three simple dials, you can quickly adjust the power
settings for three independent zones in clearly labeled 1/3 stop increments over
a six stop range. In Auto mode, the dials act as flash exposure compensation. In
manual mode, +3 on the dial indicates the flashes maximum power level.
Adjusting the dial down controls power in 1/3 stop increments for up to six
stops of control.

Studio Flash Compatibility: When used with the PocketWizard PowerST4
Receiver for Elinchrom RX, the power levels as well as modeling light function
can be controlled by the AC3 and PocketWizard ControlTL system. The AC3 can
also used to control Nikon E-TTL flashes or any PocketWizard triggered flash as
well.
