The Nikon SB-700 AF Speedlight Flash is an affordable, all-purpose flash that you can mount on your entry-level and mid-level Nikon digital SLR. It offers good continuous flash ability, compatibility to a lot of Nikon models, and an improved control interface which makes it simple to use. It’s one of the most versatile flashes from Nikon's Creative Lighting System (CLS) .Newbies and professionals will appreciate the SB-700 AF Speedlight Flash features. It’s tilting and rotating flash head gives you creative freedom. The Nikon SB-700 is quick to set-up for master or remote flash duty.

Simple and Easy Interface

One of the main features of the Nikon SB-700 is that it has a very user-friendly interface. This offers faster access to settings and shooting parameters. Newbie flash users will get used to using this flash and won’t have a hard time learning the ropes.

Fast Performer

It has quick recycle times with full discharges, capable of 2.5 seconds maximum. Partial discharges produced 9 flashes at 9 fps.

Great Compatibility

This flash can be used with most of Nikon’s digital SLRs, as well as a few Coolpix cameras. Whether your camera is an entry level DX or a professional FX, the SB-700 will work on it.

Power Efficient

Alkaline and NiMH batteries can get you 2.5 seconds full discharge recycles time. Lithium batteries can run at around 3.5 seconds. Battery life on the SB-700 is estimated at 330 with lithium, 260 with 2600 mAh NiMH, and 160 shots with alkalines.

Guide Number

The Nikon SB-700 has a 92 feet guide number at ISO 100. This gives your environment an ample amount of light to give photos the right exposure.
