I use mine for the multiple SD cards I have for my cameras. It's more convenient to have this setup on my desktop than having to connect a USB cord to each camera and its QUICKER. That's obviously a big deal when saving a day's worth of shooting. Physically, I have to push the SD cards in pretty hard before they are completely inserted. I don't know whether this is because I'm not inserting them straight each time or becuase it is still relatively new and has a tighter than expected fit. But, once they're in, my Mac picks up the files immediately and without any other steps.

With my Imac firewire downloads pictures very quickly. Very happy with this device, i have 4 others and this is the best I have purchased.

My prior experience with Belkin products has been good but I am very disappointed with the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 15-in-1 FlashCard Reader/Writer by Belkin. After very limited use it stopped working with SD/MMC cards which was the main reason for the purchase.
