I had to give it a 5 star because it's better than a 4. It's amazing how convenient and quick the access to your camera is without needing to take off the pack. It's a great feature when traveling or walking in a big city. No need to stop and step to the side of the sidewalk to take out or put back your camera. There's plenty of open space for personal items, but I usually put snacks when hiking and walking in the city. The additional bottle bag is very convenient. The tripod attachement unfortunately will not accommodate my large tripod, but is great for a smaller tripod or monopod. But after all, this pack was not designed for the photographer who's intending to bring alot of gear out in the field with them. The biggest con is that I think this pack is better suited for a man than a woman. Once the pack becomes weighted down with a full load of gear, the sling across my womanly chest is a bit constraining and uncomfortable. This should be an obvious indication from the start due to the fact that it's a sling, but all in all, it's a great pack and I highly recommend it.

Photography is a hobby of mine that is just starting to make me money; so I take my camera and all accessories with me pretty much all over. I fly across country, go hiking around the north shore of Minnesota, or run around with the school yearbook with this bag and it does great. The sling bag design makes it super easy to bring the bag to the front to get something out even while walking! When you need to keep the bag cinched to your body you can just clip the hip strap on and your good for a hike or brisk walk.
I love having a built in cleaning cloth for those accidental fingerprints on the lens when your in a hurry.
Lastly, I really like the All Weather cover. Its a piece of cake to put on and it holds nice and tight to the bag so that only the bag stap gets wet, and you can spray that with your own water proofer.
