Comments about Digital Spectrum NuVue NV-700 Plus 7" Digital Picture Frame w/256MB of Internal Memory:

Intended to use it for slide shows on a projector or TV. Couldn't get the output to work with a tv. 3x4 photos get stretched to about 3x6, so people look fat. Seems to have about 640x400 resolution - I don't call that high resolution - expected at least 1024x768. some photos got stretched and cropped. dynamic range was poor, so photos looked over exposed or too dark. overall good quality photos looked like they were taken with a cheap cell phone. control menu was extremely primitive, and awkward. Style was ok, but desk stand part kept falling off.
This product seems an extreme example of feature creep. I wouldn't bother to listen to music on the tiny speakers or look at DVDs or movies. all the unnecessary features just make the poor menu interface almost useless.
