Comments about Etymotic Research Etymotic Research 6i Isolator Earphone:

These earphones really are as quiet as earplugs. I was seated in front of a screaming toddler on a plane, put in the earphones and I could hardly hear the kid. Turned on my iPod and closed my eyes - no more worries. Sound is really great, though obviously, more expensive fulsize headphones sound better in the bass end. So light you'll forget you have them on. Just be careful and take them off slowly. The little rubber flanges can create some suction. By the way, no problem equalizing on the airplane.
