This powder is basically white with a very small amount of silver glitter in it that you only really see when you tilt the paper. The picture is not very accurate. The white is large grain so that it has a snowy look to it, it is not shiny, it is opaque white matte when it dries. The grains tend to coagulate instead of becoming a smooth covering, so it looks more grainy like a snowy look. Pretty much great for making snowflakes on cards.
You could probably get yourself some silver glitter embossing powder and some white larger grain powder and mix them to get the same effect if you want to save on jars and don't make many snow scenes or snowflakes.
