They call this detail black, but I'm sorry it is not as good as the fine detail powder of other brands. it's definitely not large grain, but it is not fine detail grain for those super intricate designs either. It is good for just a normal black powder. it does dry shiny but not as shiny as my clear embossing powder does. it's as shiny as like nail polish after it dries: it's shiny but it's not like reflective like topcoat. Hope the people who read this wear nailpolish so they know what i mean!
It's great for the price! Get a small really fine jar for those detail projects and use this for all your needs of black.
