Sturdy craftsmanship. I can rely on it to hold my heavy camera and even heavier and longest lens. I don't worry about the head moving while holding my camera/lens in a vertical position for long periods of time. I feel really good about this purchase. I've been looking for a good sturdy, reliable, large range, ball head. I've found it!
