It cuts great but does not emboss. It did not come with instructions.

This is so great compared to so many other shell punches, cut outs, and what nots that I have seen! I have lots of scrapbook pages to use this with living here in Florida! Use for making cards and adding 3-D images! Love it. I hope they come out with other variety of these!
