We use this model often on safari in Kenya, esspecially when finding game from the roof of the Land Rover. We need rugged equipment of good quality and equipment which clients find easy to use. This fits the bill and has not let us down. The only drawback is the fixed focus which is too short for some uses. But then, most client's cameras are within range.
