For the price they cannot be beat! They stay in my truck and go everywhere. If I am hunting, scouting, or camping they are in arms reach. They are great in low light conditions. Very clear. A bit bulky to walk around with them using the neck strap, but the soft case has a belt loop that works quite nicely.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to get into astronomy. After consulting some local experts and reading several books, I was surprised that they all recommended binoculars instead of a telescope. I then researched several astronomy websites and the Nikon Action 10x50's were top rated for bino's under $100.

I'm amazed how good these are, especially under low light conditions. They seem to maximize all the available light when pointed at dimly lit terrestrial object. Turn them skyward, and they reveal hundreds of stars that are not visible with the naked eye. I can't wait to take them out in the country where there is no light pollution. My only complaint would be the amount of eye relief is not ideal for people who wear glasses. But at this price, you can't have everything.

Overall, I think these would be hard to beat for the money. I'm really glad I bought these rather than spending a few hundred dollars on a junk telescope.
