A mission card provides you with 500 minutes of live observation time from a special web site, exclusively accessible by Slooh users.
You can begin observing the night sky as early as 2pm EST with this website access that connects you to superior, high performance telescopes located in Europe, South America, & Australia (coming soon). Once online, you can take pictures, save, share, and store images, zoom in on objects, listen to expert storytellers and music, listen to live radio broadcasts of specific missions, and even select an option that notifies you in advance about upcoming events.
Each card provides 500 minutes of viewing time.

When I was first introduced to the Slooh website I was a little overwhelmed. There was so much I had to learn. It takes little time to become rehearsed and "fluent" in the Astronomy world, well at least at my level. Giving access to the telescopes placed in very uniuqe places around the globe has given my entire family the gift of travel without the high price of gas! It has been wonderful to learn, with our children, about why the sky presents itself as it does. We love the interaction Slooh has offered between all of us in the family.

Last Christmas, I received an annual subscription to Slooh as a gift. Slooh is a live online observatory. Members are able to view spectacular images of planets, moons and deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters that are targeted by the Slooh staff as well as their own targeted “missions”. Members also can snap images of these targets and create and retain their own galleries on the Slooh site.
Another advantage of a Slooh subscription is the knowledge base that members can tap into which includes exchanging information among other members and the Slooh staff through its chat room and forums. Slooh also provides excellent and informative radio programs, featuring very knowledgeable and passionate astronomers.
I recommend Slooh as a gift to anyone who has an interest in astronomy and for those who may be a bit curious about things out of this world.

Great way to explore space. I am not a big astronomy buff, but found the product engaging and easy to use. My 6 year old was so excited to see some of our local planets.
