Comments about Stealth Cam Stealth Cam Stc-12vbb 12v Battery Box & Cable:

Bought one in late summer and had it in continual use from late August until the first week of February. When pulled in February battery life was still at full power. The cold did not affect it. Had hundreds of day and night time photos with the I590 which is a flash model and uses more battery power.
The cons are the weight and size, it is cumbersome for a deep woods set up. However; once set up you do not have to worry about battery life for many months. The only other con is that the case is not totally waterproof. I was surprised at the amount of rainwater that made it inside. One quarter of the box was filled.
Even with the leak I give it a high rating due to the convenience of not having to change batteries at all during a camera season.
I like it so much I bought two more for my other I590 cameras.
Good for the units that use C batteries not really worth it for the cameras like the UNIT which use AA batteries.
