This unit does what it says. It provides an Ipod input and another aux. audio port for the car stereos on the list. The best part is that it is a direct stereo connection, not a FM modulated connection. I was slightly skeptical, but it works well with my 2005 Malibu Maxx. The wiring harness instructions were pretty vague. Just select the only harness that fits out of the three that are provided. Also the Ipod controls are on the radio only, and are a bit clumsy. Life is rough, I guess will deal with it.
