The SIIG adapter worked perfectly in my Dell Dimension 8200 PC. No drivers were needed. As I used all 4 of the external ports, SIIG recommended that I connect the unused floppy drive power cable which I did. Now, instead of video playback from my external drive being jittery (using the USB 1.1 port) it is now smooth and fast. The card makes a big difference when viewing large jpegs and video clips. This card's USB 2.0 running at 480 Mbits/sec versus 12 Mbits/sec with the old USB 1.1, is noticeably faster.
