This is a cheap, temporary scanner. It's not built for long term, or heavy use. You will be lucky to get 20 scans from it, but my 2nd one paid for itself in about 20 scans due to it's low price vs the high cost ($20) of oversize scans at the print shop, so I guess I will find out if the "3rd time is a charm".
