The product worked as describe but the plastic seemed like a much lower quality than the stock plastic of course having a coarse ABS plastic feel that came out of a mold plus there was some nicks inside the storage compartment.
But it was cheap and it worked. Mounting method was merely a set of plastic tabs where the DIN sleeve then attached onto it. It made me less than reassured to its sturdiness in an accident but probably similar throughout the industry.
