The only problem with the Garmin GPS 60CSx is the thin plastic bar that you attach the lanyard to. I know two people who own the same unit and both have broken where it attaches to the GPS.
When you own something this valuable you want to hold on to it.
The Carabiner Button Clip is a better solution. It attaches to the heavy duty button that screws into the back of the GPS

When in the field I usually carry my GPS in the cargo pocket on my thigh. I run a safety lanyard from the unit to my belt.

You can also attach the carabiner to the chest strap of a backpack for easy access.
