doesn't fit a true 12 x 12 scrapbook page so you have to work with your design to fit it just a half inch around smaller

These are bargain priced frames, with occasional small quality issues. I bought 20 of them to frame an exhibit. I painted or oiled some, the rest remained natural. They are easy to use, paint, load or clean. Out of 20 a few had noticeably rougher patches on the unfinished wood, but not enough to bother me. On a few, 1 out of the 8 metal tabs that secure the artwork were funky, but artwork was still secure enough. Assembly line product, but overall quality of wood and glass is fine. Great way to frame an exhibit of small prints. Maybe not so good if you are ordering just one?
Bottom line: you get MEDIUM quality for a truly BARGAIN price.
