    The Asus EEE PC 1000he is a truly tiny machine that is capable of anything you'd reasonably need in a day (non-graphics oriented). OpenOffice, Miktex, Emacs and Firefox all run very smoothly. Should you feel the need to go level your alt or check the auction house in Orgrimmar, this lovely little friend will happily (and speedily) oblige. Even more so, it will continue doing so all day long - with a battery life of over 6 hours during my own normal use.

    I have had a few more powerful laptops, but I never carried them around with me the way I can with the 1000he. This can easily be stuffed in a medium sized purse. Forget to charge it? That's okay, the power cord will fit too.

    So if you want an machine that will do your bidding without putting undue strain on either your purse strap or your wallet, this is the one for you!

    I installed Microsoft Office 7 and ACT Contact Management software to handle emails and business comunications -- works great. I don't bother with emails on my smartphone when traveling -- just access my Mini 2-3 times a day and sync changes with my office PC when I return.
