This bulb is a pretty good bulb. It works well in contrast with the ECT-500W-120V bulb. I'm an amateur filmmaker and I tend to use this bulb to give a harsh, shine light in the middle of a shot setup. My only real problem with this bulb is that it seems to burn out rather quickly. It doesn't have the life span of the other bulb. That's about it. Other than that, wonderful bulb.

The quality of light deminishes after 15 hours of use.

Although "hot lights" are just that "hot"...I absolutely love using them. The glow it gives to a photo makes me choose them over strobes.

I use this style bulb in an 8 inch spotlight enclosure for photographing earrings, pendants, etc. The light output is a brilliant 3200K that provides excellent emphasis on the dainty features and reflective surfaces.
The first bulb that I received lasted about 2 minutes after install so I'm not very happy about the quality.

The bulb is rated and last for about 25 hours, but the lights intensity falls off after about 10 hours.

Good bulb, at 3200 kelvin, for photo flood lighting.
