I use this Hard Drive every second i am on the computer. Whether it be transferring data like photos, videos and music due to the low hard drive space built in to my laptop. Then when it comes time to back up important data, such as documents that cant be lost because of their importance. I always trusted Western digital with the reliability in their product. This hard drive also makes it a million times easier to transfer large amounts of data from one computer to the other. Also all you need is one cable to transfer data and power to the hard drive. It plugs right into the USB Port of your computer and your ready to go. I do enjoy this product and will buy more of them when i fill this hard drive up. I highly recommended that buying this product will be the greatest investment you could make in buying an external hard drive.

I use my passport to store all of my raw photos. The 500gb capacity allows me to have all of them in the same place and with me even when I am out shooting.
It is small enough to go in my camera bag and not get in the way. It is so quiet that I forget that it is even on.
It draws all of the power that it needs from the USB port so there is no powerbrick or extra cables to carry. And it uses the same USB cable as my camera!
This is my second passport. I still have and use the 120gb model for extra storage and backups on my laptop. This is the easiest and best portable drive that I have ever used.
