    Like many people, I did a wealth of research before making my first HD TV purchase. I meticulously reviewed every spec comparing them to other sets, both by Panasonic and other manufacturers. A lot of specs and features, I learned, are pure marketing. It wasn't until I started actually visiting stores and looking with my own eyes that I started to realize what was hype and what was true. It also helped that a friend has owned a Panasonic plasma for a couple years and I have always been impressed with the picture quality. In the end it was a no-brainer for me - the price to quality ratio was obvious.

    I've had the set now for 2 weeks. I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray player connected to it (BD35). Blu-Ray movies look fantastic, as does HD cable programming. As I write this I struggle to think of any weak points and I can't. If there are, they are minor an forgettable. Set up was straightforward and minimal. The on-screen interface is simple and unobtrusive, with easy to navigate menus.

    The picture on this set is incredible. Probably the best contrast between deep blacks I've seen. Highly recommended. Great Deal!
