could not ask for a better picture. Has all the inputs you need. Only reason I don't give this tv a five star rating is because of the speakers.

Great TV! If you're viewing from at least 8' away, there's no need to pay a premium for 1080p. Fantastic picture after a few tweaks (though I would have liked more flexibility in the picture controls); this Panasonic represents an incredible value for a 50" plasma for under $1000. (The next best is their PZ800U for over $500 more.)One afterword though-- you shouldn't trust Ritz (or most online vendors) when they say it is "in stock"... This was model discontinued and the few that are out there are becoming harder to find. [...]

I exchanged a 42" flatscreen that we've had for a while and thinking there wouldn't be much difference. Man, was I wrong. The unit I purchased has all the bells and whistles and allow more bells and whistles to connect. As technology evolves, so does our way of connecting to it. I can see this connection staying a float for a long time.
