My Boss is a internationally known author and speaker, and is asked to autograph laminated book and DVD covers. Regular pen and markers just dont work. This pen works really good once you get use to using it. It dries quickly, and the extra fine tip assures the writing is very "readable". If you need a pen for writing on laminated surfaces or on photographs, this is a great product. I recently purchased it, so I dont know how well the pen holds up after a longer period of time, but it appears it should last for quite awhile under normal use.
