[...] I had my two Nikon D-70 batteries charged up the next day. So I am quite happy. It can be used in both US and EU receptacles. Note, however, that this is a revised model of the Digipower charger I bought 3 years ago (even says Digipower on the unit) and that quit working several months back. I hope this one lasts longer than that.

I bought the Quantaray Digital Camera Travel Charger for a replacement to my Nikon D300 battery charger. I love this Travel Charger as it deletes the need for the pesky cord of my old charger. I quickly charges my batteries and has many uses. I come with several interchangeable plate so that other types of batteries can be charged also....

I had a big concert to attend, and a dead battery. I ran into my local Wolf Camera, and thanks to the salesmen I purchased this charger. I plugged it into my car, and my batter charged on the way to the show.

this adapter has a variety of options to use it with for Nikon batteries. and it is easy to change options. the much lower price compared to the brand name is also good.

It is easy to use and hopefully will provide a little protection to the battery. (I once lost a charge from flaky current in Italy). It is hard to say if the format is an advantage -- if you need a cord to get from an outlet to a table this would not be great -- it plugs directly into the wall. But it is easy to convert to european format.
