I was going on a trip from Virginia to New York, plugged the unit in Virginia and never got satellite signal until Baltimore. Just before I got to the tunnel. When I went thru the tunnel lost signal again and did not get the signal again until I got to Atlantic City, NJ. Then all the way to New York the signal went in and out and was constantly telling me to turn around. Thank god I did have the google printout directions to get to the place I needed to go. I would not reccommend this to anybody. I tried again to use it in NYC and could not get a signal anywhere. I did read the directions in the book 25 times and still can't get anywhere.

I am returning my unit. Takes 1-7mins to load GPS. Turns on when car ignition is on. If you forget to save location when turning ignition off, you loose data. The POI and other data such as restaurants, gas stations, etc would not load up. If you want a laugh, I drove to Virginia beach, set the unit to get me there, and it tried to get me go off the highways many times and at one point, took me off the highway and had me 5 times make U-turns on the same street. I went around in a circle?????? Had to get on right exit myself.
