Comments about Quantaray Quantaray All-in-One Memory Card Reader with 3 USB Ports:
It says it is plug and play. It isn't. My Sony laptop will not recognize it. Do not buy this. I can't remember the last time a device was not recognized by my laptop. This must be a REALLY old device. It doesn't come with a disk and doesn't give any options to download a current driver. Stay away from this piece of junk.

Comments about Quantaray Quantaray All-in-One Memory Card Reader with 3 USB Ports:
The unit came in a heat-sealed plastic package with no instructions on how to use it. The [...] website does not have an on-line user's manual for download. The pass-through USB function I had to learn by trial and error.

Comments about Quantaray Quantaray All-in-One Memory Card Reader with 3 USB Ports:
I bought this as a gift for my photographer son–in–law. To check it out before giving it to him, I successfully read an SDHC card, both into a USB-2.0 port on my MacBook and a USB-1.1 port on my older G-4. It does, in fact, read and transfer the card's data into both computers. So far, so good.
HOWEVER, it only transfers at USB-1.1 speeds, even into the USB-2.0 port! It takes the same amount of time to input 30 snapshots into my MacBook via its 2.0 port as it does via the 1.1 port into my G4.
The 3-port hub appears to pass data through at 2.0 speeds, but I haven't really used that feature much yet.
Bottom line - Don't believe their false claims about "fast USB-2.0 transfer speeds." If the slow USB-1.1 speed is OK, go ahead and buy it. But if you're wanting the faster USB-2.0 speed, forget it.

Comments about Quantaray Quantaray All-in-One Memory Card Reader with 3 USB Ports:
Worked great the first time I plugged it in, can't get it to work now, and can't find any technical support on-line. I'd just like an answer without having to call and getting a run around.

Use: media transfer
Good: covers wide spectrum of memory cards but not as many as others -- e.g., Sony
Not so great: poor labeling for memory card ports; no documentation.
