Could Be Great But Has Fatal Flaws

This clock radio seems great -- digital radio, tri-alarm, photo function, mp3 compatibility and internal storage. Most of these functions work great, but after a couple days I noticed major flaws in the product. The clock lags terribly, and it loses about 1 minute per day. The alarm clock is odd because it cannot be set to go off on weekends only (the options include once, everyday, Mon-Fri, or Mon-Sat (huh!?)). Lastly the alarm volume cannot be controlled, so for three days I was blasted out of bed every morning.
I contacted Jensen about these problems but they told me that the product was brand new and they would get back to me. O hope they come up with some firmware upgrades to fix these problems because my JCR-650 is staying in my closet until these problems get resolved.

Clock resets on Sun/Wed. during night so alarm won't work on Mon and Thurs mornings. Returned for second clock and has the same problem. Flyer says firmware upgradable, but no firmware upgrade is available on Jensen's web site.
