This model Nano (3rd generation) is the best form factor of all Nano models. I don't understand why they changed it to the newer tall form (this one fits in your hand, pocket, etc. much better). I've had all generation Nanos, including a borrowed 4th G, and this is definately the best from a form factor perspective (OS may be a bit better on the 4th G). The specific unit I received was in excellent condition (brand new condition) even though it was refurbished. Couldn't have gotten anything better for the money.
