2 lights burnt out first time I turned them on. The lights would not stay at the angle I wanted them to no matter how much i tightened the screw.

I'm just starting out with a small photography studio and wanted a light set to get me going. These are great lights, bright enough for high key phtography, but heat up very quickly.

Perfect kit for the money, and very compact and easy setup. The Ball joint for the bulb holder was a bit difficult to utilize, but once you get it attached to the bulb holder it's not that bad, I would recommend this for anyone looking to do headshots or video interviews. Just purchase a backdrop and your good to go!

I bought this kit as a first attempt to work with lighting on a documentary I am working on. It provides perfect lighting (with minor adjustments for ambience)for interviews. And the price is right for someone who is just learning about lighting.

I picked up this light set at a local [...] just to have some lighting equipment in the house that was easy to use/store. The 3 lights while not the "Top End" work very well, the stands highly adjustable, and the umbrella reflectors/diffusers work like a charm. Great for indoor shooting. For under $200 these are a necessity for any hobby photographer.
