Comments about Canon Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III EF Lens:
I have used this lens for photographing action shots from the stands of my grandson's football games and at the beach. Pictures were very clear and seldom blurry. I have taken many close shots of children that were excellent. I leave this lens on my camera all the time and seldom switch to the original lens.
Only drawbacks are that it doesn't perform well in low light and the lens has to be changed for shots indoors. Lens is quite easy to change, however.

Comments about Canon Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III EF Lens:
I purchased this lens to photograph my son's baseball games. The zoom to 300 is great, however, it is heavy and very slow to focus. At least half of my photos came out blurry (I did not use a tripod while shooting, but don't think that would have mattered much). If I had it to do over again, I would have saved my money for the IS lens. Shooting landscapes and scenery shots is great, and shooting people who are still is fine, but action shots not so much. Also, the further out you zoom to 300, the more problems you have with blurred photos - very frustrating!

Comments about Canon Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III EF Lens:
Very good for shooting animals far away just as long as they aren't moving to fast. The lens takes it's time to focus.
