The Rainsleeve is the new must-have accessory for avid outdoor photographers, offering a shield from the elements that fits easily in the pocket or camera bag. It features a unique eyepiece opening that adapts to most camera viewfinders, allowing composition of shots through the camera's lens, not through the plastic. All camera and lens controls are easily seen and operated through the Rainsleeve. It can be used either handheld or on a tripod, and a small hole can be made to accommodate mounting longer lenses to the tripod. The drawstring enclosure will fit any lens up to seven inches in diameter and up to 18 inches long.

My boyfriend and I run our own Photography/Graphics company. I had just purchased a new camera and it happened to RAIN ONE NIGHT!( our client was for HS foot ball.[...] took them to the car and nearly screamed. [...] It was a BREAD BAG WITH A STRING. I had an almost empty bread bag at home. Could have used that. Would have served the same function, and given you that sweaty arm too. I could have wrapped my camera in cellophane! DO NOT BUY THIS TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

This is a horrible product. If you are looking for a camera sleeve that works, buy something else. This leaked all over my camera and it's hard to read the lcd screen.

This is easy to pack, stuff into a pocket etc. It saved my camera during several unexpected downpours on a recent vacation to Alaska.

It was a bit tricky to secure it around the view finder.

I used this product at a recent track event and was caught in a hal hour downpour. The body and lens stayed dry as a bone. The only con with the product is that my arm was getting sweaty while it was in the sleeve. However i was able to overcome this be just leaving my arm outside of the sleeve adn was still able to manipulate the controls.

I haven't had the opportunity to use my Rainsleeve, but it certainly seems very cleverly constructed, is lightweight and flat to pack in my bag and the cutout for the eyepiece works great. The overall design is very simple and I wish I would have been the one that invented it! Now waiting for the rain!!

I purchased a set of these because I travel quite a bit. They were in my bag for a few months before I actually had to use them. While sightseeing in Ireland, it rained almost everyday we were there. I remembered I had purchased these a while back and pulled one out. At furst my husband thought I was nuts, putting a plastic bag over my new EOS 40D! But much to both of our suprise, it worked real well and my camera did not get a drop of water on it.
I did not use it with a tripod, I just wrapped my camera in it and snapped away.
It is a great product with versatility. It not only protects from rain but heavy dust as well.
