i purchased this for our bedroom and mainly because of the smaller sizes that are available in lcd. excellent off angle viewing and with a 1080 signal the picture is excellent. on certain programming i notice that faces have a redness to them, that is not always the case with higher resolution material. this dosen't seem to be a problem with high def sporting events and the picture is stunning. fast moving action still tends to blur a little bit. some of the final four action was a little distracting with motion blur however it was only in the fast breaks that the tv had some issues. the rest of the time the tv does give a great picture. if you can't fit a plasma into your space and you are looking for something a little smaller i would highly recommend this tv.
