    I've owned panasonic brand for years and actually have multiple VCR's, DVD players and televisions. Even though this unit (brand) was slight higher in price, it was was my first choice. The quality and performance just confirms that. Sure there's cheeper out there but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."

    This HDTV Flat Panel LCD TV was rated the best 26" TV for the value by Consumer Reports. I also searched the internet for other reviews and all gave it five stars. I also must give it five stars. The Panasonic 26" is spectacular, extremely easy to set up and operate and has HDMI, component, composite, etc. available.

    I already own a 50" plasma of this model so I was confident that this would be as good. It is better since it has more features, including side plug ins for hdmi and traditional plugs.

    We replaced our old CRT TV in the master suite with this Panasonic. It is a fantastic little TV. I say "little" because this is the smallest TV we own. It's a pretty good size for use in a living room of an apartment or a dorm room. Picture quality is excellent for a TV that is not 1080p resolution. The colors are vivid and it has very natural skin tones. The feature we were specifically after was the "turn-on" timer that lets us wake to the news in the morning. other brands (specifically Vizio) dont always offer that feature. The Panasonic brand may cost a little more than average, but the money is well spent. The remote has large buttons with easy to read markings, great for those with less than perfect vision.
