I have been looking for someway to combine both the sound from my XBOX 360 system with the controller audio during my online experience. Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 Wired Headphones provided everything I was looking for. I can now turn up the sound and my wife can't hear anything but me talking. Wonder product.........

Great gaming experience...feels like you are really in the game itself. The cords are a bit cumbersome, and take some getting used to. The headset is light weight.

Using some pro headphones for recording these you should not. XBOX Live is the BETTER with these especially when you want to hear stuff going on in the game and you need to have your TV/Audio System off or quiet. Though I found they have a little too much low end ( and I love bass ).
What I really like about these is there is no wireless noise cuz they are wired !!! The main cable is long and the XBOX Live Voice wire is long enough for even us with long arms. Though I've read someone thought the XBOX live Voice cable was a bit small, I agree but I don't feel like I would break it easily, just dont' use it as a whip as the controller will fly off.
I love the volume wheel on the peice that plugs into the controller as it's a quick mute for those annoying players, with plenty of amplification to turn up the mumblers. Speaking of which if you turn up the main sound volume to high your ears will bleed, its awesome. It really gets you into the game, you can hear stuff going on and now where the sound is coming from. I just wish they put the mute at the controller bug instead of the cable but it does server 2 purposes, the XBOX Live connection and mic connector that you would use for playing on a computer.
I highly reccommend these to anyone looking for XBOX Live and computer headphones and need to keep the room noise down. With some creative headphone adapters you can leave them plugged into your computer and xbox at the sametime, providing they are within cable range.
