For the main compartment, double zipper pulls provide quick access to photo gear while a weather flap and quick-release buckles provide security and weather protection. Inside, foam pillars support the camera with lens attached, ready for action, while adjustable foam-padded dividers protect other equipment. Tamrac's patented Memory and Battery Management System uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A Windowpane-Mesh pocket organizes filters, cables and other accessories.
Two mesh side pockets provide quick access to accessories and water bottles. The comfortable, foam-padded backpack harness with sternum strap is contoured to spread the weight of the camera gear across the shoulders. The harness also features Tamrac's Strap Accessory System attachment points for customizing this pack with optional Tamrac S.A.S. products. Two lash tabs on the bottom allow a tripod to be carried (requires accessory straps).

I've been shooting for about 6 years now. I recently took a trip form Mn. to Hawaii, then to San Francisco. Best bag ever for traveling the airlines and hotels. Very easy to pull out the laptop without having to empty the entire bag. It stores easily in the overhead compartment, or under the seat. Very comfortable to carry with the harness. The straps distribute the weight throughout your back. I have a very bad back, but this bag was easy to get on and easy to carry either on your back or by the handle. I would recommend this bag to the beginner all the way up to the professional. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

I wanted to have my laptop and camera carried on a plane with me in one carry-on, this provides that easily with thick comfortable shoulder straps and easy handling at security checkpoints. Great for day hikes with extra room for my jacket and snacks. The optional SAS (Strap Accessory System) added just the extra external pockets to make this a perfect system for this hobbiest!!

Two things I need to say about the company, and the product Adventure 9 Photo/Computer Backpack, I just purchased. I am planning a photographic trip to Alaska next month and needed a simple backpack that would service my Nikon camera and attachments, my sony HD camcorder, my 15" Macbook for short side trips and a bag that wouldn't weigh me down.
