    I am just in the beginning stages of a huge project of converting trays and trays of slides into digital pictures. There was easy setup and and I love the professional application. Of course the proof in the pudding is the accuracy of color, contrast and definition of background. I appear to get all of that. So in the early stages of conversion, so far, so good.

    Bought this scanner mainly to scan film (going from digital back to film) and scanning old 35mm slides. It has a great capacity, scans up to 12 frames or 4 slides at a time. Digital ICE tech does an excellent job at removing dust and junk off film. Scans at very high resolution recovering bad exposures and fine details.

    Worked with a Macbook Pro running latest OSX version without a hassle. Software/Scan can be launched from scanner.

    Very pleased.

    Scans are very sharp.They are better then expected. Complicated to seperate several scans at once. Controls are clear and work well. Digital ice does not always work well.Correction software works easily. Elements 2 needs to be upgraded.I thought it would be useful but isn't.I do recomend this scanner for several uses and its high Quality. Price is well worth it.
