As a theatrical lighting designer, I primarily use my Pentax SLR *istD to capture my designs. For the most part, I'm very happy with my Pentax, especially when it captures more amber and orange colors on the stage. However, saturate blues are extremely difficult to accurately portray with the Pentax *istD. Regardless, I recommend this camera for it's crispness and it's color rendering on the warmer part of the spectrum. However, I have provided a more blue picture that shows that by proper use, you can capture an accurate blue.
