do not shoot on bright light. Reflection on LCD will not permit you to see the object you are attemptong to shoot.

I have the Canon Digital Rebel XTi but wanted a camera to throw in my purse to have with me at all times. While I liked the idea of the touch screen, it is not as sensitive as it should be. Sometimes I would have to touch the screen two or three times to get the camera set the way I wanted it to be and therefore, I would miss shots. I am a decent photograpgher, but half of my pictures that I took with this camera were blury because I couldn't control the touch screen when I wanted. I'd rather lug my Canon Digital Rebel around than use this. The quality of the pictures was just average. Not impressed at all. I returned it for the Nikon Coolpix P80.

I bought this product to use for small family gatherings and pictures that I would take in a casual setting. I love that the touch screen navigates you to the pic. scenes easier than toggle buttons. My only problem is getting use to my touch. I find when scrolling pictures I tend to his the zoom more the scroll. I need to get use to it a little more.

Camera works great for taking pictures of our little one in all of his best (and worst) moments. We love how small & slim it is compared to our last camera. So easy to use. The touch screen is fantastic. Zoom takes some getting used to at first, but now that we've used it a few times, it's great too.

I love this camera. It is so easy to use even my 4 year grandson can work this camera and could not put it down. I really like the ability to draw on photos and even create art work on my pictures. I will be using this camera for all my picture taking. This camera has great looks and style. Can't wait to use it on my vacation to Alaska next year.

I use the camera when I am perfroming a site survey for security device installation. Using the camera for estimates, it is great to write notes on the picture. It has already paid for itself in time saved.

I use this camera for estimates when I am in the field. Being able to write comments on the pictures saves me a lot of time and confusion after a site visit. Pictures are great and for the cost, it cant be beat.

I was disappointed from the onset of purchasing this product. It is very hard to use while focusing on the suject. If you want to zoom it is way to hard to manuver with the focus on the screen and not at your fingertips. I have had some very poor quality pictures since the purchase of this camera. My previous point and shoots took much better quality pictures. When trying to set up the setting for lighting that is a joke if you can't recognize the many symbols by memory and you can't change it after you pick it you have to go back to that screen that holds all the symbols because it takes to you to the picture taking mode! For the money and the time this camera is not worth it at all. .I have told several people that have seen it advertised Don't bother![...]

I Love this camera, it was a gift to my girlfriend but I couldn't stop playing with it, i'll give it to her eventually.
SUPER easy to use and the panorama mode kicks butt, plus Ritz' 2yr ESP covers everything but fire.

I bought the Nikon S60 to have as an on-the-go camera. I primarily shoot with film-based SLRs (slides and black & white), but wanted a convenient digital to carry around when I'm going places I don't want to haul my SLRs to.
I instantly liked this camera - easy to use, easy to setup, very intuitive controls. Great size and just what I was looking for.

The Screen is amazing in all ways. It's large, clear and bright and you can use the stylus to write on the picture or add hearts/ other symbols. If someone in the picture blinks, it will tell you and ask if you want to retake it! By far the best camera I've had!

I purchased this camera just as it was released to take on vacation. Arrived the day before I left, skimmed the quick start booklet and was ready to capture my vacation photos in 10 minutes. Easy to use, huge screen, love the touch-screen controls. This is the best point and shoot camera I have ever used. Love it. The only thing I was missing was a water proof housing for it. I am sure that will come. thanks nikon!
