This camera is great. I never thought that it would be as light as it is. The screen is big enough to where you can see the detail of the picture taken. This camera is just an all around great camera to have.

I loved that the start up with this camera was as easy as putting in the batteries and turning it on. It can be kept as easy as you want it or you can manipulate settings to have more manual control. Leaves a lot of room for growth.

It is a great improvement on last years version. The first picture I took clicked the second I pressed the button, which made me very happy. The screen is nice and large and the controls are very easy to use (Esp. if your previous camera was a Canon).

We have had a canon A80 for a bunch of years and decided to upgrade. WOW Much lighter, compact compared to the A80. Much larger LCD Screen. Canon continued easy point and shoot. Great deal through Ritz, I basically had Canon almost give me the camera for free. Considered buying a second A580. I don't know how much better the A580is is but very happy with A580.
