    The little lap top notebook is fantastic. I honestly have no clue how long the battery will last but it plugs in and the battery charges in a short period of time. Screen resolution is excellent. You must expect that the screen is not a LARGE screen so if you have vision problems you will have problems reading the screen. The computer is FAST to load everything and it comes with all you need for a "notebook". The storage disk will keep everything you may need to transfer into a larger machine or take with you to use with the notebook. It is very light weight and portability is excellent. I cant think of anyone needing any more than this machine offers for a notebook and the price. RITZ CAMERA did great with the purchase and resell of this item to the public. The software is included and its wonderful and completely compatible with Windoze applications such as the MS Word we all use. It has spread sheets and all you would expect with a desk top computer. Its a notebook... if you want more then buy a desk top and your own airplane to carry it around.

    PROS: Consumes less energy. Can be used dedicate for Magic Jack/Skype phone. We can disconnect [...] regular phone service and it can earn its own money. Speakers are reasonably good. Webcam, bluetooth are good. Battery gives around 6 hours usage. OVERALL, I AM SATISFIED TO BUY THE MACHINE.CONS:Would have been nice ASUS offers 16/20 GB for XP laptops as well like they offer it on Linux machines, so that it can be used for development. S-Video output is missing. VGA output is there, we can connect to TV only if we have LCD/HDTV/PLASMA avbl. Even though it is SSD, it is not very fast as one would expect, but it is as fast as regular 5200RPM hard discs. Microphone doesn't receive very clear voice.

    Actually for the cost it is hard to beat. Its great for the adverage consumer. Its functionality would suit Joe public and what most people use a computer for. Perfect for web browsing and general word processing. Compact, light, an impressive bit of technology.

    This netbook is the smallest 9incher I've seen. This means the keyboard is also the smallest I've seen. This is precisely what I wanted, but be aware that the layout takes getting used to. Also, the touchpad settings were not adjustable by default. I had to install the config application manually. This was disappointing. Otherwise, I love this computer. It is incredibly portable--light and small. The horizontal screen resolution is 1024, which is more than enough for web-browsing. The solid-state hard-drive means long battery life, quick bootup, and less heat. The six-cell battery allows for a long time between charging. The screen is quite bright.
    If you know what you're getting into, I highly recommend this netbook.

    Funny enough I under-estimated the Asus Eee PC 901, because I was going for a brand name notebook, but when I couldn't come up with enough cash for what I was hoping to get, I decided to buy the Asus Eee PC 901 since it was affordable. The good deal was I saved a lot of money and got the same value i was looking for in the brand name notebooks.
