    My husband bought me a regular laptop a couple years ago, which everyone uses. But I'm always on the go, taking kids here and there, sitting at dance/gymnastics/lessons... I really wanted something smaller, lighter and easier to tote around. This is it! Plus it's cute and affordable! And...AND...since it has a smaller screen, the kids are not prone to snag it for their games! Yes! It's All Mine!!!!

    I was able to actually use this netbook approximately three times before I started experiencing issues with it. The screen display started jumping/flashing all over the place. Now when I turn the unit on, I get a white screen with a bunch of colored horizontal lines. [...] I have to deal with Acer directly. I am not at all a satisfied customer.

    They did not warn that in order to make an external back-up, you need to get a DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. That said, The ACER was the perfect purchase for me and the kids. Easy to load and burn movies; tv shows; and nice and small to travel with. It really is the size of a dvd movie player.

    This is a great little computer for when you need to travel. Gets e-mail, surfs the web (yes, wifi). I use it to DJ dances, where its compact size and light weight are a huge advantage. It almost fits in my purse when I travel. It's a tiny computer, so you may not like it for gaming or movies, but it beats an iPod for watching. I love mine. It's nice this one comes with the six-cell battery. Mine had a three-cell, which only lasts about 2 hours tops.
