Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This camera is so easy to use. It has all the presets for snap and shoot, as well as all the manual settings for people that know how to use them. It takes finominal photos with any setting you chose.
The face recognition is a little tricky to use cause it focuses on the closest one, but at the click of the metering butten you can over ride it if need be and focus on everything else

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I bought this as a step up from my D40 and it has been a great camera. It has a solid feel to it but isn't to heavy. The focus screw allows you to have a greater lens choice. While the high ISO isn't as great as the newer cameras I find that most of the time it has been more than good enough except for shooting in very dim lit hockey rinks.

This camera is not a point and shoot. There are two great sources of information and guidance; one on line at Kodak the other is on line with numerous DVD's for sale. Depending on your background, the learning curve may be steep, but once you have learned how to operate the camera, you will be please with your decision to own a Nikon D-90

I do a lot of Nature & Wildlife & Landscape
photographs. Have been very happy with my
D80 but this is another step up for me in
abilities the D90 has, I also wanted a second
body in order to have two different lenses
ready at a moments notice. Especially with
wildlife this important because the moment is
often short lived. Like the size of the camera, fits my hands nicely and has quick to use
controls and focuses acuratly and fast.Nikon
has never let me down, just keeps getting better
& better!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I shoot action photos of model aircraft in flight for a welll known hobby magazine and getting those first shots done right on the first flight is critical. My D80 just was not consistent enough, but the D90 makes up completely for this. It is much faster, much better on exposure control, and quicker to focus on a moving object. In the studio, it simply outperforms everything I have ever owned before. Yeah, I'm loving this DSLR!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I purchased the camera to use on an extended trip and to upgrade from my digital point-n-shoot. This camera was selected because of my extensive use of Nikon film cameras. My biggest concern was the use of other Nikon lens with this camera. This was not a problem. In fact, the older lens worked great. I was especially impressed with the low light capability and the quality of the indoor shots taken without a flash.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This camera takes awesome professional photos. I upgraded form the NikonD60 and there is a big difference in the exposures. my first time using my new NikonD90 was during a wedding gig and the photos of the bride and groom came out brilliant and thats without any Photoshop editing. I highy recommend this camera. no need to spend $5000.00 on a camera. I'm a semi- photographer and I mostly do Model fashion shoots at the moment. Love photography. Buy this camera you will not be disappointed. There is a feature on this camera that I love: there is a switch for automatic focus, meaning if your lens don't have automatic focus, the camera will focus the subject you're shooting awesome feature. Nikon rules!!!!!!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I take photos of theatre productions at a local high school. I used a Nikon D50 for 4 years but had to do a lot of post process noise reduction. With the D90 the pictures are great right out of the camera, improved dynamic range, great high ISO performance, and the red channel doesn't blow out on the improved CMOS sensor. Great upgrade, worth every penny. Be sure to get a high speed lens for indoor shooting, I still like the old 50mm f/1.8; the kit lens is not great for non-flash indoor shooting. Just buy it already, you won't regret it.

I have not yet been on a trip with this camera, but cannot wait. I have made sure, upgrading from my D40 to the D90, I have done my home work. Meanwhile I have been going out every weekend to get familiar with this camera, because it is so much more notches up from the D40. Love the video, was really never into the video and plan to do or experiment more in the future with it. It is there why not? Pretty pleaese with my choice! Cannot get into the cons yet, since i have recently purchased and still try to get familiar with it.

A Perfect fit for the serious Hobbyist or Student with dreams of maybe going pro.

First 3200 iso handheld with the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 blew me away and drew me away from the D80.

Nikon has an absolute winner here and will be around for the next few years. Just love the ergonomics, button & menu layout of Nikons.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I've owned this camera since Dec 08 and its been a pleasure using it daily. I own a D100 and D40 and D90 sure surpasses both cameras by leaps and bounds. With a high speed card and battery grip I can shoot in high speed and not worry about the memory buffer catching up to the card like I do with the D100 or D40. I have used a Sigma 55mm-300mm and Tamron 19mm-55mm lens with the D90 and auto focus was very fast and accurate not like the D100 and as you know only certain old lens work with the D40 in AF mode. The only bad part is the there is no continous auto focus in movie mode and you are limited to 5 minute movie clips. But as a Digital SLR this camera is hard to beat. It's even better than the D300 for the price that you pay. I am really happy I chose the D90 instead of the D300 for an upgrade of my old D100 and D40.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

Perfect size for a do-everything type of camera. Sling it over your shoulder for travel or random events and you hardly know it's there. Yet its small size does not hinder its powerful photographic abilities. Works just fine for weddings, portraits, etc. Movie mode is fun but takes time to master the manual focus requirements. Take time to get your pictures right before and while you shoot because the vivid LCD screen can be deceiving, making any poor shot looking amazing. Ability to focus non AF-S lens is a real plus.

This is a follow-up to my first posting. After almost a year, I have developed an unbelievable fixation on taking pictures using only available light because I believe that capturing objects in natural light would preserve its integrity and the D-90 makes it all possible. I am a wanna-be photographer but nevertheless, my camera is the best thing I have ever bought that would help me translate what my interpretation of the world is.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I compared the D300 and the D90 heavily before purchasing the D90. The only differences I could find were:
1. size (pro for 90)
2. # of autofocus points (con for 90)
3. bracketing mode only takes 1 over, 1 under w/ 90 vs. tthe D300 does two on each side.

The biggest pro is that it is the same sensor! Read the reviews, it's a no brainer.
I love my D90.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

Camera takes incredible pictures. I love it. Upgraded from the D40. Already started taking portraits for friends and they have come out great. The kit lens works very well, but I highly recommend the 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor lens which is only [$]. That combo is powerful. Would have gotten the 35mm lens but could beat the price of the 50mm. With that lens the camera feels so steady and light. It allows you to take really awesome pictures even inside with no flash. Can't wait for my next trip the Outer Banks, Disney World, and the Smokies to see what this baby will really do.

I love my first D90 so much I got another for the other shoulder. I carry the 18-135mm and flash on one. The other D90 has a 70-200MM F2.8. Since I went with the D90 I throw less than two percent of my shots away now. I love the focus system, it is not to busy and easy to get in a groove when shooting long events. Wedding shooting is a lot more fun now. I've owned a few cameras, the D90 will be around a while in my bags of tools.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

The D-90 like all the Nikon SLR's are very superior products. The quality of the D-90 is exceptional as it is very light and easy to use in all sorts of shooting situations.

The light capabilities make it virtually adaptable to any type of situation - from very dim to very bright light.

The crispness and sharpness of the actual pictures stand out above many other types of images shot with other types of camera.

I have used the D-40 and D-50 with Nikon lenses for the past several years - that is shooting professionally - primarily sports and celebrity type work.

The sleek and stylish and functional body and lenses are great.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I'm a professional photographer and I used the D80 to shoot in variable lighting conditions that required high speed. This camera was difficult to use when constantly changing too many settings due to the fact that it doesn't like low light so when you use a high ISO it causes a lot of grain. I have an SB800 flash that works great but eats up battery power fast so it causes the camera to recycle really slow when the juice gets even a little low in the flash. Not easy to set the settings. Forget about the auto settings there is always something off. I am quite disappointed. It's a great camera for an amature but not if you want to shoot professional grade. Too pricey compared with a Canon.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I have used a D40 for the past 2 years and wanted to upgrade. Considered the D300 but didn't see the need with all the D90 offered. I have owned the D90 for about a month now and am very happy with it. It is very comfortable in my hands, it seems much sturdier than the D40. The ADL works well, the LCD is easy to see, it focuses well (much better than the D40) ... there are so many features it will take quite a while for me to feel like I truly "know" this camera. But... someone could take this camera out of the box and begin to shoot great shots first time out. I shoot mostly landscape/nature scenes along with some architectural stuff. I carry my camera with me when I work with wildfire fighting teams, so it needs to be sturdy. This camera seems sturdy enough for my needs. The only thing I have been disappointed with is the noise at the higher ISO settings. It's much better than I've had before, but I thought there would be less noise. I may not have a setting right so I can't be too critical yet. I have not used the video features except to see how it works, so I can't say much about that, but it is a neat feature - though I wish it auto focused during video mode. I researched this purchase for quite a while before I bought and I am very pleased with my new D90 and would suggest it to others. My work can be seen by googling my name where you can see the difference from the D40 to the D90.

I have used my friends D3 and it weighs a ton! Unfortunatly, 2 weeks after I purchased it, while photographing a 5 day old baby in my studio, I dropped it on the tile floor and shattered the LCD on top! The camera was still completly functional!!! I can't wait to get it back!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I considered purchasing the D300, but after using both I am glad I bought the D90. Not worth the extra $ to get the D300 in my opinion. The only thing missing for me is the BKT mode is limited to 3 exposures, so for >3 exposure HDR shots you have to manually adjust.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I went to Washington DC to see Barack Obama, I bought the camera on January 15th, the day I left. This is my first SLR of any type and first I have used since HS in the 1970's. This camera was easy to use, simple to set up. I have always been a point and shoot person until now. Now all I dream about are better lenses and more gadgits for my camera. I took some outstanding photos in "dummy" mode then read a few pages in the book about a few settings and took a few more shots in novice modes. This is a fine camera for begginers like myself, don't be afaid of it, just learn from it.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This a great camera for the amateur photographer. Ease of use is just that. The LCD display is amazing, especially the live view. But what's really great is how many features it offers. As I learn more and more about the possibilities and options, I am becoming a more advanced and confident photographer. It may be a little heavy, but it's very comfortable in hand. I use this camera for headshots, live theatre shots and sporting events and feel like although there will be newer and shinier models in the future this camera will meet and exceed my needs for a long time. The Video capability is another big plus. It's so nice to have a quality camera that takes amazing pics AND video all in one. Again ease of use is it's greatest feature.

This is my first DSLR. I was using a couple of digital cameras (Canon S3 IS, Canon SD1000, Sony H5) but was getting tired of the results I had with them. They were not fast enough and always I get blurry pics with slower speeds. Now is different. The D90 takes pictures at a higher frame rate, it does much better in low light and has so many new features. Also, I like HD video.
I'm glad I did the research to find the right lens for me. The Nikor 16-85mm VRII lens is awesome. I highly recommend this product.

Had D50 for 2 years and I honestly believe that I made the right choice of Upgrading to D90. It was a toss up between D90 and D300. After numerous trips to the store for 4 months, I took the plunge of purchasing the D90 online through RITZCAMERA. I basically got the quality of a D300 for the Price of a D90 :) Got it delivered to my door on the 10th and the minute I unboxed the package, I fell in love with this camera. Paired it with my NIKON 18-200mm VR lens and the pictures comes out astonishing, amazing, excellent, I would put more descriptive words but i cant think of anymore. Its very light to handle. Very good in Low light compared to my D50. Oh yeah THANKS RITZCAMERA for the EXCELLENT that I got my camera for.

I was deep into 35mm SLR photography 20 years ago. Got tired of lugging around a suitcase of equipment and switched to disposables for snapshots for several years. On auto it just takes perfect photographs. As a creative tool the possibilities are endless.

Okay, so I had a D50 for 2 years and have been eyeing the D300 since it came out last year. Then along came the D90, I've read tons of review comparing it to the D300 for fraction of the price. I was a little skeptic about it. Then the D700 came out and I was just blown by the features but unfortunately, I can only dream of owning it. After months of reading reviews and comparison and numerous visits to the store checking out both D300 and D90, I've decided to order the D90. I got my camera yesterday and was so excited about it. Took some pictures and I can not believe how easy it is to use it. For a Photo enthusiast/Hobbyist like myself, Im BLOWN AWAY. Just last year, I took photos at my sister's wedding in Hawaii using my D50 and they were all impress when I made a PHOTO BOOK for them, they all thought that it looked professional. Well, just wait until my NEPHEW's birthday and I will definitely knock them off their seats when they see the finish product. So for those people that are torn between the D90 and D300, think no more, HANDS DOWN to D90 for fraction of the price... Thanks RITZCAMERA for giving me a sweet deal on this one. Next purchase will be a GRIP as an ADD on to this equipment. :)

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I outgrew the D60 very quickly as my interest soon turned to obsession and I wasn't happy. Needless to say, I was craving more and was to intimidated by an upgrade to a full frame model that required a lot of manipulation. All I can say is that the D90 is right in place with a model that fits everyone that does not want to be a professional but takes photography seriously. The D60 is a very nice camera and the D90 is just a step above. The knowledge I gained with the 60 only accelerated my love for the 90. The controls are not the same but they are similar enough that they are picked up very quickly. The differences that are immediate to me are:The 11 point auto focus is light years better than the 3 point on the 60. This also leads to better metering and much better, clearer photos. The lens thing! Truly, had I had a better salesman at [...] when I bought the 60 I would have gotten the 80 right away. I think its completely absurd that there are no motors for auto focus in the camera, it seems like a way for them just just charge more for a motorized lens. I do hear Sigmas motorized lenses are quite good though. The high ISO capability is fantastic. I can take shots at 1600 that have less noise than my D60 at 400. This make it a lot nicer shooting birds at dusk and dawn with my 5.6 200-400 Tamron, that was useless in low light before.I don't find the live view or the movie mode very useful, but I think that is a personal preference. They do work, I just haven't found a need yet. The camera is still worth it without these features. Maybe one day?

I used to shoot weddings for a living with a film camera, full control is a big deal. This digital camera gives you all the control you can use, plus it lets you point and shoot if you want to. What could be better? There is a great selection of lenses available to suit any need. The only down side is the size, but if what you want is an SLR then size is not what you are looking at, if travel is your thing, bring a point and shoot camera on the trip to augment the SLR. Great tutorial available on line at NIKON, they go through every setting, the tutorial is segmented by topic, so you can skip the things you don't need. The live view function comes in handy and, is something you don't get with every digital SLR.

I just got the Nikon D90 for Christmas. It is replacing my Nikon D40. I love that my 50mm lens (and other none Nikkor len) will now autofocus, because they don't on the D40. The camera is definately heavier than the D40, but it is worth the extra weight. The LCD screen is larger. Pictures taken at ISO 3200 are sharp without noise. The Live View/Video is nice to have since I take my camera with me everywhere, but not often a camcorder. This is definately not the best video, but a nice feature. The camera has tons of retouching options, more than the D40. There are many external settings that are available without going into the menu, which saves so much time (WB,ISO,etc). This is a camera that I will not outgrow anytime soon. Love it!!!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This is the camera I was going to get when I opted instead for the D50, which is a fine camera,
but I always knew I wouldn't be satisfied until I
got my D90. This is without a doubt the best camera I've ever owned, very versatile yet easy to use. I would suggest reading the owner's manual several times to cull all the pearls from it, then just start clicking your way to photo nirvana.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

Nikon got this one right: As of Jan 2009, their best value in a digital SLR. Dynamic range expansion & built-in correction of lens imperfections, good performance @ high ISO's, plus 12 MP resolution produce images equal in image quality to the D300. Relatively easy to use with older AI lenses, even with flash. Very good build quality, great 3" LCD & excellent ergonomics. Fast & easy to handle. Great for family events, available light sports, wedding photography. Good for scenic & landscape - careful sharpening during post-processing can produce high-quality 20x20 prints.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

We absolutely love our D90! My wife has wanted it for a long time, and now I see why. The pictures of our children that it produces are much better than anything we have paid for by pro photographers. The only issue we have is that it doesn't continually focus in video mode. Once you focus on something, everything else is blurry so chasing 2 year olds is difficult. Other than that, it was the best purchase we've made all year!

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

Having been a Nikon D200 user, I got a chance to borrow a D300 for a day of shooting, and loved the nearly 2 stops advantage the low noise sensor provided, not to mention the fantastic 3" LCD panel. So when the D90 came out and the initial reviews verified that it shared these benefits from the D300 for a fraction of the price, I ordered one from Wolf camera. My impressions from about 2 weeks of use confirms the great low-noise image quality, but I was also surprised that it also focuses faster than my D200. The bright, high-pixel LCD panel has so much resolution that it is very easy now to verify exposure and focus. I also like the lighter, more compact body (compared to the D200/D300). The image controls are placed differently on the D90 than the D200, but the D90 still has one-button access to key functions, plus a custom menu that the photographer can create to assemble the functions you want to access fast (and order they appear). Overall, I find the camera handles very fast. I'm hanging on to my D200 body as a spare, but I must say I've only reached for the D90 since I got it. This camera will satisfy the needs of serious users who appreciate the ability to efficiently make adjustments on-the-fly, yet my wife will also be able to easily use this camera as a point-and-shoot. Even a pro looking for a great camera for wedding photography will appreciate the high ISO quality and fast handling of this camera. I'm very pleased with the D90, and the improvements in both technology and ease of use that Nikon has packed into this camera, which in my view makes the D90 the best bang-for-the buck DSLR out there.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

One of the things that I really notice about this camera is just how many settings it has and how fun and easy it is to use all of them. You have such a wide range of features, making shooting style possibilities pretty much endless. The body is also very light weight but the size is perfect and feels solid.

I just upgraded from a pro-sumer point and shoot which also had lots of settings but nothing like the D90. I also purchased two lenses for the D90 separately: the 18-200mm and the 50mm 1.8. The D90 probably feels easier to handle and more balanced with the 50mm though.

I also purchased the D90 with an 8GB Kingston Class 6 card. It's fast enough to record video at full 720 without any problems - although it's a little too slow to get the full 4.5 fps the D90 can throw at it.

In conclusion, I'm loving the camera and can't wait to shoot with it more.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This replaces my D40 for daily use, usually take ~250 shots/week. Handles extremely well, controls are well placed and intuitive if you've handled a Nikon before. Lots of menu options, it's a bit daunting at first. AF locks on very quickly and the ADR feature is welcome under difficult lighting conditions. A step up from an entry level DSLR without the cost of a professional model. Only things missing are high frame rates and full size (FX) sensor, but for the price it's a deal.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I was upgrading from a D40x and was torn between the D80 or the D90 (since the D80 has gone down in price). I am so happy I went with the D90. The pictures are wonderful, I can use my SB-600 wirelessly (which was not an option with the D40x), and the 4.5 fps allows me to catch all the action shots. The camera is nicely laid out where you can change the controls very easily and capture all the shots you want.

The video is a nice feature, but I would not buy the camera expecting to get rid of your dedicated video cam. It is nice for a quick movie, but nothing extensive.

What made me finalize my decision about picking this camera was the in-camera chromatic aberration reduction feature (cheapest one on the market to have that feature) and the in-camera vignetting compensation. Add that on top of high ISO noise performance that matches or beats any camera anywhere near its price range and the very clean JPEGs the camera produces, it was a no-brainer.

I bought the D90 body to replace my D50, and am very happy with it. Most of my use is shooting sports, and I appreciate the faster rate at which I can shoot photos, plus the add'l controls on the results. The larger LCD is much better for reviewing shots. It is easier to make on-the-fly changes to shooting parameters, and I really like the automatic-but-no-flash setting.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I bought this camera couple weeks ago. As soon as I received it I tried it directly. I really love this camera. I shot macro pics and the results are close to perfect. I tried its multi-exposure function and it works very well and I am really glad with this. I can really distinguish the different results between my old camera D70 and this one (D90). The pictures from D90 have better clarity, sharp, and genuine color than pictures from my D70. In the condition low light, D90 is able to adjust quicker and the results are perfect. I will take my D90 to Colorado soon, to do photography exposure in the Rocky Mountain. I am very excited to think about this. I want to say thank you too to Ritz. Your service is excellent. Congratulate!!!!!

Nice upgrade to D80

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

Very nice upgrade to the D80, which I also own. The 3" LCD makes a big difference. HD video is nice in a pinch without a video camera. It still won't replace a video camera. Live View is nice when you get tired of placing the camera to your face. 4.5 fps is impressive when mated to a 70-200 VR lens for action sports.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I use the D90 for my small photo business, which includes landscapes, portraits, real estate pictures (I take photos for our local real estate firm which includes scenes of inside and outside the listed properties). The camera produces excellent quality photos and is very easy to use. I have not found anything at this point that I do not like.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

This is my first upgrade since buying a D70 many years ago, and WOW. What a huge difference. I am the team photographer for my DD's soccer club, and I always compensate for my lack of skill with good cropping and Noise Ninja. I can safely delete Noise Ninja now. Even with an older (pre-VR) 70-300 lens, sports shots are clean and sharp and gorgeous. I am very, very happy with this camera.

front focus problem and hot pixel
By algernon from San Antonio, TX on 10/21/2008
Cons:
Expensive, Low Quality
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I bought the D90 about a month ago and discovered series of problem already. I should have returned it but I cant coz I already sold the kit lens. The d90 that I bought has front focus problem and the sensor cleaning system doesn't work. Nikon support are helpful with these kind of problems but are not experienced enought to detect what the real problem were. Within just 1 month of owning the d90, I've already had it repaired twice and nothing happened. And now, a new problem arised - the hot pixels. These tiny star-like dots that appear even in iso 200. I'm thinking of selling it back to a local camera exchange and get a d300 instead. Buying a product like this too soon is never a good idea.

Excellent camera, average lens
By gunslinger14647Verified Reviewer from Victorville, CA on 10/20/2008
Pros:
Durable, Excellent high ISO photos, Good Value, High Quality
Cons:
Plactic body
Best Uses:
Night Shots, Sports
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I'm rather surprised to read some aren't happy with the performance. Coming from the D80, I think this camera is a whole class higher. Many of my photos are shot at night, and register an ISO of 3200; yet the pictures are at least as sharp as the D80 at 800 (maybe even 400). The kit lens is average, but with great glass, the results are stunning.

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

The Nikon D90 makes all other amateur DSLR's obsolete and even gives the professional Nikons a run for the money. The LCD is amazing, good battery life, and super fast 4.5 fps all combined with a lightweight make it impossible to pass up.

Disappointing. Too many hot pixels!
By MichaelVerified Reviewer from Cedar Park, TX on 10/16/2008
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nikon Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only):

I wanted a mid to high end DSLR that I could use for general photography as well as night shots and astrophotography. While the camera does appear to perform quite well for daytime shots (the few I've taken so far), unfortunately for long exposure night shots, the images end up loaded with hot pixels. While I'd tested the camera at my local Wolf Camera store, I never actually downloaded the images, and the hot pixels don't show up on the camera display. While the D90 does have a processing feature to try to average out hot pixels, it's slow and will also eliminate image detail (like stars), since it just averages out the pixels. So, while hot pixels are a fact of life with digital cameras, the way they're handled varies and Nikon's solution isn't the best. The attached picture has been downsized by the website, so only the worst groups of hot pixels show up, but it gives an indication of the problem.[...]
