The 10 mega pixel, 5x optical zoom NV11 has 1600 ISO high-sensitivity and features Samsung's proprietary ASR image stabilisation system which helps to capture the best possible images even in dimly lit conditions. All images captured on the NV11 can be viewed in dramatic clarity on the camera's 2.7-inch LCD.
The NV11 is also equipped with Samsung's Face Recognition technology, which detects a subject's face, and automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality in portraits and other shots featuring people. The AF function instantaneously recognises the faces of subjects and accurately focuses on them. The AE function then takes over, setting the appropriate exposure to ensure the highest image quality.
Capturing moving pictures is made simple with the NV11 which is able to take 30 frames per second in TV quality MPEG-4 VGA format for crisper, richer images.

Pros: Camera size, though a bit bulky. nice color to the pictures and can be tweaked before taking a shot, wide angle good for groups, and landscape when you need to get lots in a picture. Feel of the camera in hand, very nice. Screen size good. Controls easy but take some time to learn. Better camera than the NV10.Cons: Nice picture quilty, but have seen better for the price. Would be nice to have a view finder for those really bright sunny days because it can be hard to see screen. Controls take time to learn, and need a light touch. Cheap lens cover for such a solid camera case.Overall a very cool camera. Nice pictures can be had if one takes the time to learn all that this baby can do. For a point and shoot I give it a 7 out of 10, but wait until price drops a bit from the $[...] I got mine for.
