This is a very nice camera, I don't think Pentax gets there just do. I would like to see a cover over the lens when not in use but this is probably not doable in a waterproof camera.

Keep in car for daily use when encountering unsuspected photo opportunities. Small, compact, easy to use with a good user manual. Love the micro function! Use it as a supplement to two Nikon DSLR's that I don't want left in an overly heated/cooled car or out in inclement weather. Far better than the Kodak I had been using for same purposes.Don't have to worry about weather conditions when using....rugged and like Everready Bunny, just keeps on trucking.LCD viewer is poor, to say the least, in bright sunlight...can't even find "target" of photo in most instances.
