Fast Face Detection

With PENTAX's face detection technology, the camera quickly and automatically sees up to 32 faces in 0.03 seconds, so portraits and group shots are bright and focused, even in backlit situations.

Flexible movie capture

HD movie capture vividly captures moving memories in widescreen 720p (15 FPS) as well as full speed 848x480, VGA, and QVGA resolutions.

Super Macro mode

THis camera is a great camera for the price. It does everything that I need it to do and more. Still learning how to use all of the functions but they are easy to get to and the menus are easy to navigate.

I've shot over 200 images at day and night.The AWB and AF work work very well in Program Mode.All daytime exposures are excellent even at high shutter speeds and low ISOs.Picture quality/resolution is excellent.Sharpness is typical Pentax,very good.Don't buy this camera for the HD video.It is good but not great.Get an HD camcorder for better results.

I've shot just a little over 200 images at day and night at baseball games. The AWB and AF work very well in Program Mode.All daytime exposures are very good to excellent even at high shutter speeds with low ISOs.I haven't had to re-touch exposures very much.Picture quality and resolution is excellent.Very typical Pentax sharpness.The HD video is a nice +. What I have shot is clear with very good color but you can do a lot better with a pure HD camcorder.Just be careful handling this baby,the plastic body is the only downside.
